Spencer Delbridge

Founder & CEO

Spencer is the visionary, the man whose drive, enthusiasm and a passion for change has created one of Bristol’s most progressive and liked companies.

His infectious devotion to the growth and stability of the Company has attracted a fantastic team who share the same vision and ethos. As Managing Director, Spencer is responsible for overseeing ACS’s organic growth and along with his leadership team, drives the strategic direction of our business as well as being actively involved in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with our extensive portfolio of Clients.

When he isn’t boldly directing ACS, he is a proud father of 2 and a long-suffering Newcastle United fan!

Jennifer Townsend

Director of Operations

Jennie brings with her a wealth of operational knowledge, having been in the cleaning industry for 16 years and is very much at the helm of our business, growing and overseeing multi-million-pound companies. She directs the Operations of ACS with passion, dedication and an incredible work ethic. Jennie is truly loved by customers and staff for her warm and personal approach to her work, but also for her commitment to the task.

Jennie takes a hands-on approach to her role and has the knowledge and depth of understanding across all service sectors. She also heads up a team of dedicated Area Managers who oversee the service delivery as well as maintaining the strategic and operational running of their accounts with a commitment to providing the highest level of support and quality.

Samantha Carroll

Director of Finance

Sam heads up the finance department and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, bringing her vast knowledge and experience in the sector. She leads the team of people working in accounts and payroll.

Sam is very much part of the ACS success story. She has grown the business from its infancy, with a solid financial foundation and has paved the way for investment and development.

Sam has overseen the year on year financial growth of the company and has developed customer focused teams with the same approach. She supports the operational teams, providing guidance and solutions ensuring the delivery of the service promise.

Beth Adman

Senior Contract Manager

Beth joined the team as a junior contract manager and quickly gained promotion to a senior role due to her fantastic work ethic, eye for detail and people management skills. She has a can do attitude and when faced with challenges will work methodically to provide the best solution. She is respected by Clients and colleagues across the business, for her dedication to providing exceptional customer service, as well as for her commitment to her team of cleaners. As senior contract manager, Beth oversees a number of key sites and is passionate about introducing innovation and operational efficiencies for our Clients and employees, whilst maintaining a relatable team approach. Whilst working in a particularly demanding environment, she is always upbeat and positive and makes time for all who need her.

Alex Barker

Head of Specialist Services

Alex joined the Company’s mobile team of cleaners in 2019 and immediately stood out as someone who went the extra mile! He quickly proved himself to be capable, hardworking, a great team player; wholly dedicated to providing a fantastic service to our Clients. With his unbeatable work ethic, he was clearly destined to be in management and within a year, he was promoted to head of specialist services. There he manages an incredible team of deep clean specialists and takes responsibility for all the Company’s specialist bookings. Since the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Alex and his team have worked tirelessly to keep our businesses and Clients safe. Carrying out Coronavirus deep cleans and specialist fogging services, auditing and building risk assessments for Clients and managing all aspects of the specialist services required by businesses to remain open and trading.

Alongside his specialist work, Alex also manages some of our key sites in the Bath and Bristol area.

John Clevesy

Accounts & Payroll Manager

Being office based, John is often the face of the business for our team of employees. He is loved and respected by everyone and has a wealth of knowledge both in the accounts and payroll department but also in the operations of the business. John is responsible for ensuring wages are carried through to completion, which are paid on a 4-weekly basis and for all Client invoicing. John has been with ACS for many years and has worked his way up through the business to now hold a senior position. Regardless of how busy he may be, John will always make time for people, helping wherever he can and providing support and encouragement to our many cleaners.

Steve Wood

Mobile Team and Audit Manager

Steve has been with ACS since the dawn of the business and has worked in all sectors of our deep clean team! He is a friendly and familiar face across the business, delivering a fantastic standard of specialist services, from window cleaning to floor maintenance and everything in between. Alongside his work, Steve also carries out essential auditing of our services, visiting Clients monthly to inspect the cleaning standard and stock levels. Steve works well with everyone, regardless of position and always maintains a cheery, friendly and approachable disposition which makes him a real Client favourite.

Curtis Penney

Junior Contracts manager

Curtis joined the company in 2019 as an apprentice in business administration. Whilst he has excelled in all areas of his apprenticeship, he really stood out as being an effective young leader. In early 2020 we promoted Curtis to a position of Junior Contracts Manager and the feedback from the Clients has been overwhelmingly positive! Curtis is furthering his education in business management and will continue to grow and learn about the cleaning industry. We are really proud of his journey so far and hope he has a long and successful career with us at ACS.
